Relevant work experience during the study increases the employment chances

Wageningen graduates who had already gained relevant work experience during their study, one and a half years after graduation,  most often work in a paid job. Of those who had relevant experience gained during their studies, 92% had paid work, one and a half years after graduation (measured in 2012). Those who did not have this experience, 87% had paid work, a difference of 5%.

Even those who did an internship, had gained managerial experience as a board member or had followed education abroad, more often had a paid job than those who did not.

This fact shows up out of an analysis of the Universities Monitor 2012.
