Foodcamp op Wageningen Campus
Thursday, December 10, Wageningen UR is organizing the event Foodcamp. Foodcamp offers a diverse programme on all aspects of food and nutrition. From production to consumption, from innovations and developments to consumer behaviour, from health to ethics. Foodcamp will take place from 16:00 to 21:00 in the Forum building at Wageningen Campus, Droevendaalsesteeg 2, Wageningen. Registration for Foodcamp is not necessary, so if you are on the campus: come and take a look! More information on the Foodcamp webpage.
Everyone is welcome, so we want to ask you to share this event via your social media channels to bring in as many people's attention. If you create your own message, please use #FoodcampWUR.
In the series "Talk about ... 'Wageningen scientists give a brief introduction to the research in their field and then everyone can ask them about the ins and outs. At the innovation market, the latest developments are shown. And there are guided tours over the campus and through the library and the greenhouses. At 20:00, rector magnificus Arthur Mol and the public will reflect on the day: What have we learned? What new scientific questions have emerged? Where are we now and where are we going with nutrition research?
Food Camp is part of the Wageningen Dialogues, where also the app Hapsnapp and the Nutrition blog belong to. The Wageningen Dialogues are one of the ways Wageningen UR uses to meet the ambition from the Strategic Plan to enter into a dialogue with society about socially relevant issues and concerns that are in our knowledge domain. The aim of the dialogues is to reach shared conclusions or consensus, or prompt new scientific questions.
