18:55  “China, a threat or a partner?” by prof. em. dr Meine Pieter van Dijk, former professor of Water Services Management at UNESCO-IHE, Delft. Visiting professor at the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Currently working at the Maastricht School of Management (MSM).
19:35  “Having, Giving, Taking: Putting China’s engagement in Africa in context” by dr Ward Warmerdam, senior economic researcher at Profundo, Amsterdam
20:15  Short break: coffee, tea
20:30  Plenary discussion, chaired by Mr Chudi Ukpabi
21:05  Conclusion of the seminar by Mirjam Scholtens from Ipso Facto
21:10  Drinks and bites
21:40  Closure

Dinner, vegetarian or non-vegetarian, will be available from 18:00 h onwards in the student restaurant, ‘The Spot’. 
The cost of the dinner is around € 5,- for students and participants of the Seminar (payment only by pin).
